A listing agent vs. a buyer’s agent:
If you decide to work WITHOUT a buyer’s agent, keep in mind that the listing agent is looking out for the SELLER and not you. The listing agent is there to protect the seller and try and get the most money out of the deal.
If you decide to work WITH a buyer’s agent, I am in your corner, protecting you and looking out for your best interest. I negotiate for you to get you the price and terms that you want. Basically the buyer’s agent works for you, and the seller’s agent works for the seller. That’s why it is important to have an agent on your side when buying a home.
